Oldenburg Group Data Breach Lawsuit Investigation

Maxey Law Firm is investigating Oldenburg Group, which recently sent notice of a data breach to impacted individuals.

Oldenburg Group reported that the data breach may have impacted 4,500 individuals.

For each of these individuals, the information involved may have included their name, email address, address, date of birth, Social Security number, driver’s license number, financial account information, tax information, medical information, and/or health insurance information.

It is unclear whether or not the Social Security numbers were encrypted and, if not, why they were not encrypted.
