OneBlood Data Breach Lawsuit Investigation

Maxey Law Firm is investigating OneBlood, Inc., which recently sent notice of a data breach to impacted individuals.

Medusind reported that the data breach may have impacted 1,530 residents of South Carolina. Residents of other states may have also been impacted.

For each of these individuals, the information involved may have included their name and Social Security number.

It is unclear whether or not the Social Security numbers were encrypted and, if not, why they were not encrypted.
