TWG Wellspring Data Breach Lawsuit Investigation

Maxey Law Firm is investigating TWG Wellspring, which recently sent notice of a data breach to impacted individuals.

TWG Wellspring reported that the data breach may have impacted 266 residents of Texas. Residents of other states may have also been impacted.

For each of these individuals, the information involved may have included their name, address, Social Security number information, driver’s license number, financial Information (e.g. account number, credit or debit card number), medical information, and/or health insurance information

It is unclear whether or not the Social Security numbers were encrypted and, if not, why they were not encrypted.
