Cascade Financial Services Data Breach Lawsuit Investigation

Maxey Law Firm is investigating Southwest Stage Funding, LLC d/b/a Cascade Financial Services, which recently sent notice of a data breach to impacted individuals.

Cascade Financial Services reported that the data breach may have impacted 1,618 residents of Texas. Residents of other states may have also been impacted.

For each of these individuals, the information involved may have included their name, Social Security number information, driver’s license number, and/or financial information (e.g. account number, credit or debit card number).

It is unclear whether or not the Social Security numbers were encrypted and, if not, why they were not encrypted.
