CCM Health Data Breach Lawsuit Investigation

Maxey Law Firm is investigating CCM Health, which recently sent notice of a data breach to impacted individuals.

The notice states that an unauthorized individual accessed CCM’s network between April 3, 2023 and April 10, 2023, and, as a result, may have accessed and removed a number of files from its network.

CCM reported that the data breach may have impacted 85,258 individuals.

For each of these individuals, the information involved may have included their full name, date of birth, Social Security number, medical information, and/or health insurance information.

It is unclear whether or not the Social Security numbers were encrypted and, if not, why they were not encrypted.
