Consulting Radiologists (“CRL”) Data Breach Lawsuit Investigation

Maxey Law Firm is investigating Consulting Radiologists LTD. (“CRL”), which recently sent notice of a data breach to impacted individuals.

The notice states that on February 12, 2024, CRL detected suspicious activity in its network environment, during which an unauthorized actor accessed certain files and data stored within its network.

CRL reported that the data breach may have impacted 1,301 Texas residents. Residents of other states may also have been impacted.

For each of these individuals, the information involved may have included their name, address, Social Security number, driver’s license number, medical information, health insurance information, and/or date of birth.

It is unclear whether or not the Social Security numbers were encrypted and, if not, why they were not encrypted.
