Doxim Data Breach Lawsuit Investigation

Maxey Law Firm is investigating Doxim, Inc., which recently sent notice of a data breach to impacted individuals.

The notice states that on December 30, 2023, Doxim detected suspicious activity within the portion of its computer network supporting its credit union services, during which files had been removed from its network.

Doxim reported that the data breach may have impacted 2,214 Texas residents. Residents of other states may also have been impacted.

For each of these individuals, the information involved may have included their name, address, Social Security number, and/or financial information.

It is unclear whether or not the Social Security numbers were encrypted and, if not, why they were not encrypted.
