Cornwell Quality Tools Data Breach

Maxey Law Firm is investigating Cornwell Quality Tools, which recently sent notice of a data breach to impacted individuals.

Cornwell Quality Tools reported that the data breach affected 11,884 individuals.

For each of these 11,884 individuals, the information involved may have included their name and/or driver's license number or non-driver identification card number.

The notice does not state whether or not the driver’s license numbers and other sensitive information were encrypted and, if not, why they were not encrypted.
