Pacific Union College Data Security Incident

Maxey Law Firm is investigating Pacific Union College, which recently sent notice of a data security incident to impacted individuals. The notice states that the security incident arose from unauthorized access to our network occurred between March 5 and March 19, 2023, during which information was removed from its network.

Pacific Union College reported that the data security incident impacted 56,041 individuals.

For each of these 56,041 individuals, the information involved may have included their name and Social Security number.

It is unclear whether or not the Social Security numbers were encrypted and, if not, why they were not encrypted.
