Kimco Staffing Services Data Breach Class Action Lawsuit Investigation

Maxey Law Firm is investigating Kimco Staffing Services, which recently sent notice of a data event to impacted individuals. The notice states that on or about June 24, 2023, Kimco became aware of suspicious activity related to certain Kimco computer systems arising from unauthorized access to a limited number of systems on Kimco’s network resulting in unauthorized access to data.

Kimco reported that the data event impacted 69,687 individuals.

For each of these 69,687 individuals, the information involved may have included their name and Social Security number.

It is unclear whether or not the Social Security numbers were encrypted and, if not, why they were not encrypted.
