Plavan Commercial Fueling Inc. (“P-Fleet”) Data Breach Lawsuit Investigation

Maxey Law Firm is investigating Plavan Commercial Fueling Inc. (“P-Fleet”), which recently sent notice of a data breach to impacted individuals.

The notice states that on or about February 23, 2024, P-Fleet experienced a ransomware incident, during which certain individuals’ information may have been impacted.

P-Fleet reported that the data breach impacted 2,948 individuals.

For each of these individuals, the information involved may have included their name and Social Security number.

It is unclear whether or not the Social Security numbers were encrypted and, if not, why they were not encrypted.
