Nice Pak Products, Inc. and Professional Disposables International, Inc. Data Breach

Maxey Law Firm is investigating Nice Pak Products, Inc. and Professional Disposables International, Inc. (collectively, “Nice Pak”), which recently sent notice of a data breach to impacted individuals. The notice states that the data breach arose between May 28, 2023 and June 15, 2023, when an unauthorized actor viewed and obtained files stored on certain servers in Nice Pak’s network.

Nice Pak reported that the data breach impacted 8,659 individuals.

For each of these 8,659 individuals, the information involved may have included their name and Social Security number.

It is unclear whether or not the Social Security numbers were encrypted and, if not, why they were not encrypted.
