Vi Living Data Breach Class Action Lawsuit Investigation

Maxey Law Firm is investigating Vi Living, which recently sent notice of a data breach to impacted individuals.

The notice states that on March 13, 2023, Vi learned that an unauthorized third-party gained access to Vi’s corporate office network and data server, during which files from Vi’s corporate office data server were accessed by the unauthorized third-party.

Vi reported that the data breach impacted 61,425 individuals.

For each of these individuals, the information involved may have included their name, address, date of birth, Social Security number, financial account number, payment card number, medical treatment information, and/or health insurance information.

It is unclear whether or not the Social Security numbers were encrypted and, if not, why they were not encrypted.
