Arden Claims Service Data Breach Class Action Lawsuit Investigation

Maxey Law Firm is investigating Arden Claims Service LLC, which recently sent notice of a data breach to impacted individuals.

The notice states that on or around October 17, 2023, Arden became aware of unusual activity related to an email account, during which an unknown actor acquired certain data without authorization.

Arden reported that the data breach may have impacted 50,032 individuals.

For each of these individuals, the information involved may have included their name and Social Security number.

It is unclear whether or not the Social Security numbers were encrypted and, if not, why they were not encrypted.
