Oak View Group Data Breach Class Action Lawsuit Investigation

Maxey Law Firm is investigating Oak View Group (“OVG”), which recently sent notice of a data breach to impacted individuals.

The notice states that on or around November 26 , 2023, OVG detected that an unauthorized third party had gained access to parts of its network, during which data of current or former employees of OVG was potentially impacted.

OVG reported that the data breach may have impacted 58,935 individuals.

For each of these individuals, the information involved may have included their first name, last name, date of birth, and Social Security number.

It is unclear whether or not the Social Security numbers were encrypted and, if not, why they were not encrypted.
