Bradford-Scott / Andovers FCA Data Breach Class Action Lawsuit Investigation

Maxey Law Firm is investigating Bradford-Scott Data, LLC, which recently sent notice of a data breach to impacted individuals on behalf of Andovers Federal Credit Union, for which Bradford-Scott is or was a technology and service provider.

The notice states that certain files were likely copied from Bradford-Scott’s network between May 19 and May 28, 2023.

Bradford-Scott reported that the data breach may have impacted 43,435 individuals.

For each of these individuals, the information involved may have included their name and taxpayer identification number.

It is unclear whether or not the taxpayer identification numbers were encrypted and, if not, why they were not encrypted.
