SinglePoint Outsourcing Data Breach Class Action Lawsuit Investigation

Maxey Law Firm is investigating SinglePoint Outsourcing, Inc., which recently sent notice of a data breach to impacted individuals.

The notice states that on November 30, 2023, SinglePoint became aware of a potential data security incident, during which certain data on the SinglePoint network was accessed by an unauthorized individual.

SinglePoint reported that the data breach may have impacted 11,096 individuals.

For each of these individuals, the information involved may have included their name, Social Security number, driver’s license number, and bank account information.

It is unclear whether or not the Social Security numbers were encrypted and, if not, why they were not encrypted.
