Cummins Behavioral Health Systems, Inc. Data Security Incident

Maxey Law Firm is investigating Cummins Behavioral Health Systems, Inc., which recently sent a Notice of Data Security Incident to impacted individuals. The notice states that the Data Security Incident arose from a ransomware incident that occurred between February 2, 2023 and March 9, 2023.

Cummins Behavioral Health Systems, Inc. reported that the Data Security Incident affected 157,688 individuals.

For each of these 157,688 individuals, the information involved may have included their name and/or Social Security Number.

The notice does not state whether or not the Social Security numbers and other sensitive information were encrypted and, if not, why they were not encrypted.
