Dedicated Transportation Solutions Data Breach Lawsuit Investigation

Maxey Law Firm is investigating Ascend Dedicated, LLC d/b/a Dedicated Transportation Solutions (“DTS”) , which recently sent notice of a data breach to impacted individuals.

The notice states that on or around December 16, 2023, DTS became aware of certain unauthorized activity within its computer systems, during which a limited amount of personal information may have been accessed by an unauthorized third party.

DTS reported that the data breach may have impacted 6,812 individuals.

For each of these individuals, the information involved may have included their name and Social Security number.

It is unclear whether or not the Social Security numbers were encrypted and, if not, why they were not encrypted.
