Designed Receivable Solutions (“DRSI”) Data Breach Class Action Lawsuit Investigation

Maxey Law Firm is investigating Designed Receivable Solutions, Inc. (“DRSI”), which recently sent notice of a data breach to impacted individuals.

The notice states that on January 22, 2024, DRSI detected suspicious activity in its network environment, during which an unauthorized actor accessed certain files and data stored within its network.

DRSI reported that the data breach may have impacted 498,686 individuals.

For each of these individuals, the information involved may have included their name, address, and Social Security number.

It is unclear whether or not the Social Security numbers were encrypted and, if not, why they were not encrypted.
