Financial Business and Consumer Solutions (“FBCS”) Data Breach Class Action Lawsuit Investigation

Maxey Law Firm is investigating Financial Business and Consumer Solutions, Inc. (“FBCS”), which recently sent notice of a data breach to impacted individuals.

The notice states that on February 26, 2024, FBCS discovered unauthorized access to certain systems in its network, during which an unauthorized actor had the ability to view or acquire certain information on the FBCS network.

FBCS reported that the data breach may have impacted 1,955,385 individuals.

For each of these individuals, the information involved may have included their name, Social Security number, date of birth, and account information.

It is unclear whether or not the Social Security numbers were encrypted and, if not, why they were not encrypted.
