EP Global Production Solutions, LLC (“Entertainment Partners”) Security Breach

Maxey Law Firm is investigating EP Global Production Solutions, LLC (“Entertainment Partners”), which recently sent a Notice of Security Breach to impacted individuals. The notice states that the Security Breach arose when a sophisticated threat actor evaded Entertainment Partners’ cybersecurity defenses and acquired database files containing personal information.

Entertainment Partners reported that the Security Breach affected 471,362 individuals.

For each of these 471,362 individuals, the information involved may have included their name, mailing address, social security number, and/or tax identification number.

The notice does not state whether or not the Social Security numbers and other sensitive information were encrypted and, if not, why they were not encrypted.
