Gerson Lehrman Group Data Breach Class Action Lawsuit Investigation

Maxey Law Firm is investigating Gerson Lehrman Group, Inc. (“GLG”), which recently sent notice of a data breach to impacted individuals.

The notice states that GLG experienced a ransomware incident in which an unauthorized third party accessed data from GLG’s computer system.

GLG reported that the data breach may have impacted 152,621 individuals.

For each of these individuals, the information involved may have included their Social Security number.

It is unclear whether or not the Social Security numbers were encrypted and, if not, why they were not encrypted.
