Hair Club for Men Data Breach Class Action Lawsuit Investigation

Maxey Law Firm is investigating Hair Club for Men, which recently sent notice of a data breach to impacted individuals.

The notice states that Hair Club for Men recently completed an investigation into an incident involving unauthorized access to certain systems on its network, during which certain files and folders may have been accessed without authorization.

Hair Club for Men reported that the data breach may have impacted 4,334 individuals.

For each of these individuals, the information involved may have included their name, Social Security number, driver’s license information, direct deposit account information and or medical information related to injuries at work or requests for family or medical leave.

It is unclear whether or not the Social Security numbers were encrypted and, if not, why they were not encrypted.
