Kansas Joint and Spine Data Breach Class Action Lawsuit Investigation

Maxey Law Firm is investigating Kansas Joint and Spine, which recently sent notice of a data breach to impacted individuals.

Kansas Joint and Spine reported that the data breach may have impacted 397 residents of Texas. Residents of other states may have also been impacted.

For each of these individuals, the information involved may have included their name, address, Social Security number, driver’s license number, financial information (e.g., account number, credit or debit card number), medical information, health insurance information, and/or date of birth.

It is unclear whether or not the Social Security numbers were encrypted and, if not, why they were not encrypted.
