Landmark Admin Data Breach Lawsuit Investigation

Maxey Law Firm is investigating Landmark Admin, LLC, which recently sent notice of a data breach to impacted individuals.

The notice states that on May 14, 2024, Landmark learned that an unauthorized third party attempted to access its network and that Landmark found evidence to suggest some Landmark files may have been compromised by an unauthorized third-party.

For each of these individuals, the information involved may have included their name, address, Social Security number and/or tax identification number, financial account number, driver’s license number/state-issued identification card, date of birth, annuity policy information, and life insurance policy information.

It is unclear whether or not the Social Security numbers were encrypted and, if not, why they were not encrypted.
