The Global Atlantic Financial Group LLC Data Breach

Maxey Law Firm is investigating The Global Atlantic Financial Group LLC, which recently reported a Data Breach that impacted 15,560 Massachusetts residents and 5,732 Delaware residents. The data breach may have also impacted residents of other states.

For each of the impacted individuals, the information involved may have included their name and/or Social Security number.

It is unclear whether or not the individual taxpayer identification numbers and other sensitive information were encrypted and, if not, why they were not encrypted.
