The Prudential Insurance Company of America MOVEit Data Breach

Maxey Law Firm is investigating The Prudential Insurance Company of America, which recently sent notice of a Data Breach to impacted individuals. The notice states that the Data Breach arose from a vulnerability in a file transfer application that Radius Global Solutions uses called MOVEit.

The Prudential Insurance Company of America reported that the Data Breach impacted 320,840 individuals.

For impacted individuals, the information involved may have included their name, address, date of birth, phone number, and Social Security number.

It is unclear whether or not the Social Security numbers and other sensitive information were encrypted and, if not, why they were not encrypted.
