TRC Staffing / TRC Talent Data Breach Lawsuit Investigation

Maxey Law Firm is investigating TRC Staffing Services, Inc. d/b/a TRC Talent Solutions (“TRC”) , which recently sent notice of a data breach to impacted individuals.

The notice states that an unknown actor gained access to certain systems between March 25, 2024, and April 12, 2024, and may have accessed or acquired information from these systems related to TRC employees.

TRC reported that the data breach may have impacted 158,593 individuals.

For each of these individuals, the information involved may have included their name, Social Security number, and driver’s license number.

It is unclear whether or not the Social Security numbers were encrypted and, if not, why they were not encrypted.
